WEARING YOUR JEWELRY
Please consider removing your jewelry before practicing any sport, cooking, gardening and handcrafting. Fragrance, cosmetics, chlorine and sea salt can cause discoloration of gold and reduce sparkle of gemstones. It is therefore recommended to remove your jewelry before going to swim in the pool or in the sea.
Contact with other jewelry pieces or hard surfaces can cause scratches. Store your jewelry pieces individually in the original box or in a fabric-lined case or pouch.
CLEANING YOUR JEWELRY
To prevent your jewelry from loosing it’s sparkle and shine, clean it regularly. If you wear your jewelry pieces often, consider cleaning them every six months. It is really simple to do it yourself: fill a plastic bowl with lukewarm water, add mild soap and soak your jewelry for half an hour. Gently clean it with a soft brush and rinse it with clean running water. Dry it carefully with a soft cloth or a hairdryer and enjoy it sparkling again.
CHECKING THE SETTINGS OF STONES
It is recommended that you regularly bring your jewelry to a professional jeweller for revision and professional cleaning. Depending on how frequently you wear your jewelry pieces, this service could be done annually or every couple of years. If your jewelry has suffered a damage or if you have any concerns about the claws holding stones or the safety of clasps, please do not wear your jewelry until you have it revised by a professional jeweller.
